The package price includes the following services:

  • 4 overnight stays at a hotel, all rooms with a WC/bathroom
  • 4 x breakfast buffet
  • 3 x dinner at the hotel
  • 1 x dinner at a typical Slovak-style ‘Koliba’-restaurant with spirits and Slovak grilled specialities (3-course menu), 0.2 l of wine and folk music
  • Raft cruise on the Dunajec River
  • Guided tour during the entire stay according to the program (2nd, 3rd and 4th day), excluding entry fees
  • Every 21st participant free of charge, the first one in a single room, every other person in a double room

Day 1: Arrival - High Tatras

Arrival at the hotel, accommodation in the rooms and dinner with welcome drinks at the hotel.

Day 2: High Tatras and the Spiš region - panoramic round trip

After lunch, your sightseeing tour through the High Tatra National Park commences. Admire the smallest high mountain range area in the world and its wonderful landscape. You have the opportunity to take the cabin ropeway to the Skalnaté Pleso Lake (at 1,750 m). Enjoy the breathtaking view one has from there. Afterwards, you move on to Spišská Sobota the pearl of the Spiš Region. You will see the historical town houses, the St. George Church (13th century.) and the altars made by the famous wood carver Paul of Leutschau. Afterwards, you will visit the Štrbské Pleso Lake which hosted the Nordic World Championships in 1970. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 3: High Tatras - Červený Kláštor (Red Monastery) - Kežmarok - High Tatras

The panorama road tour takes you to the Pieniny National Park. We will pay a visit to the former Carthusian Red Monastery from the 14th century. A romantic raft cruise on the border river Dunajec in the Pieniny National Park follows. You will then also make a short stop in the city of Kežmarok, which has had the status of a city ever since 1269 and harbors several late Gothic churches as well as houses. Here, one can admire one of the nicest wooden churches in Europe, this church was built in 1717. Dinner will be served in a typical Slovakian ‘Koliba’-restaurant with spirits, Slovak grilled specialities, wine and folk music to create a great atmosphere. In the evening, you will return to your hotel.

Day 4: High Tatras - Bachledova dolina (Bachleda valley) - Levoča - Spiš castle - High Tatras

Today´s trip takes you to one of the world´s most famous ice caves, which is located at only 920 m above sea level. Afterwards, you will drive through the National Park Slovak Paradise to the historical town of Levoča, one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Slovakia where the St. Jacob Parish Church is located, with the highest gothic wing altar made by Master Paul from Levoča. Afterwards, you will see the Spišský Castle. Spatially, this mighty ruin of an originally early Slavonic fortification is the largest fortification facility in Europe. From here, you have a wonderful view of the small town Spišské Podhradie, of the Spiš Region and farther away, of the High Tatras. In the afternoon, following your arrival at the hotel, you will also have the opportunity to take a ride to the Hrebienok summit. From here, you can proceed on a short hike into the Tatra National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: High Tatras - Return journey

After breakfast, you will leave the High Tatras and travel back to your home towns.
